On March 4, 2022, DC’s The New Batman premiered in North America. Director Matt Reeves employed cutting-edge virtual production (VP) technology for the film, utilizing AOTO’s LED displays to construct a massive 270° LED volume spanning over 400m² achieving twice the pixel density of comparable stages like ILM’s Mandalorian StageCraft. From The Mandalorian to The Batman, this revolutionary virtual production system has redefined industry standards, delivering Hollywood-grade ray-tracing precision to authentically recreate Gotham City’s noir aesthetic.Matt Reeves: “It’s absolutely insane!
