AOTO Expands MicroLED Manufacturing with New Production Center

New facility adds capacity for P0.3–P1.5 Micro and Mini LED production

HUIZHOU, China,— AOTO recently brought its new MicroLED Intelligent Manufacturing Center into production, adding dedicated capacity for P0.3–P1.5 ultra-fine-pitch LED products.

The new center supports both COB and COG packaging, with chip placement accuracy of ±5 μm. More than 95% of production is automated, with product yields reaching over 99.99%.

For AOTO, the expansion is not simply about producing more. It gives the company greater control over precision, consistency and production flexibility as LED displays move toward increasingly finer pixel pitches.

Built for Precision

At smaller pixel pitches, even minor variations during production can affect the finished display. That puts greater demands on everything from chip placement and packaging to the production environment itself.

AOTO’s new facility operates under Class 1,000 cleanroom conditions, with controlled temperature and humidity as well as ESD protection throughout production.

Automated production lines and digital process control are used across key manufacturing stages, helping maintain consistency from one batch to the next while supporting production at scale.

The facility is set up for both volume manufacturing and customized production across AOTO’s Micro and Mini LED portfolio, giving the company more flexibility to respond to different product specifications and project requirements.

From Manufacturing to the Screen

The additional capacity will support AOTO’s Micro and Mini LED products across retail, cinema, film and television, broadcast, transportation, and DOOH.

Each application brings different requirements for image quality, reliability and product configuration. The new center gives AOTO greater control over the manufacturing process, while adding the flexibility and capacity to meet different project needs.

33 Years of Building LED

The new facility comes in AOTO’s 33rd year.

Since 1993, the company has continued to develop its LED technology and manufacturing capabilities as the industry has moved toward smaller pitches, higher resolutions and more specialized applications.

The new MicroLED Intelligent Manufacturing Center is the latest part of that investment—giving AOTO more capacity to turn new display technologies into products that can be manufactured consistently and delivered at scale.
